Project Embarrassing Past
A miraculous and entertaining thing has happened to me since I’ve been back home for Christmas. Amusing Conversation With Nick of the Day
Me: So Courtney is stranded at the airport.
Me: She's really upset -- she might not make it home in time for Christmas or her birthday.
Nick: That's terrible.
Me: I feel really bad for her.
Me: And also think it's odd that Beth, Liz and Courtney all had experiences like this but that my flight was 100% fine.
Nick: First time for everything.
Nick: Maybe your luck is starting to change.
Nick: Or god made a mistake because he was busy with Christmas.

My irreverence only deepened with my move to Los Angeles for undergrad. Off campus,...
